Stay in the know

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. – Henry David Thoreau #brandreveal #yoga #ayurveda #ayurvedalifestyle #comingsoon #smallbusiness
🕉Practicing yoga is much more than the physical 🕉Practicing yoga is much more than the physical postures. Learning to integrate the full practice including observing the Yamas and Niyamas on the mat and in your daily life can transform you and your yoga practice. Our thoughts, actions, decisions, interactions with others, our daily routines, our surroundings, everything can reflect the extent of our Yoga practice. Only by such inclusive and integrated yoga practice can the ultimate goal of this ancient system be realized: bringing our bodies, minds and spirits into harmony to make us free from the bondage and miseries of life.

Yamas and Niyamas are practical ways to live so we can access inner peace, bliss and love in our day-to-day life. 🙏🕉🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏿‍♀️🧘🏽
My first home yoga space (a corner in the living r My first home yoga space (a corner in the living room), was a catalyst and a driving force behind my consistent practice and the transformation that occurred. About 11 years later, my new home space and virtual studio (more on that coming soon!) From yoga videos early in the morning in my living room, going to my first studio class and meeting @kimdawesyoga, becoming a 500-hour yoga teacher and meeting the most amazing people....it's all been a beautiful and transformative journey.
How many of us have times when we feel broken, mes How many of us have times when we feel broken, messed-up, or hopeless? We take a magnifying glass 🔍 to our imperfections and try to fit our “broken” pieces together 💔 🧩

Find hope, understanding, and clarity in yoga. Yoga helps us to see our true value. We cannot be broken because we are already whole, just as we are 💯🥰❤️
This has been quite a year. A year of loss and gai This has been quite a year. A year of loss and gain. A year of pausing and reflecting. A year of uncertainty and resilience. Through it all, we’ve learned lessons that we wish to carry with us into the future, and we have experienced things that we need to let go.

The end of one year provides us with a pause to introspect on that which has passed. The beginning of the following year is a launching pad for embodying a new way of being.

Join me on January 1 for a 90 minute yoga flow dedicated to honoring the year we leave behind, letting go of the things we do not wish to carry forward, and setting intentions for ourselves as we look ahead. The class will include opportunities for journaling.

⚖️Creating balance is a way to make things eas ⚖️Creating balance is a way to make things easier and more enjoyable and to be able to live life with more joy and contentment.

When your balance is off simple tasks feel more difficult and daily routines seem impossible. When life is over full there’s often very little space for the things that truly matter.

You have the power to create balance in your life:

✨Make your health and wellbeing a priority
✨Nurture relationships
✨Say no more often
✨Make time for yourself

When your mind, body and spirit are in balance, the result is a sense of self knowing and empowerment which feels good and is good for you.

When your balance is off simple tasks feel more difficult and daily routines seem impossible. When life is over full there’s often very little space for the things that truly matter.

Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.” ~Thomas Merton
