Celebrate all the things we love about spring with essential oil spring diffuser blends for physical and emotional health and wellness.
As the weather gets warmer, the skies are bluer and the sun is shining more often I love to open up the windows and doors and get everything out in order to bring in fresher, cleaner spring air.
Spring marks the end of the cold gray winter and marks the beginning of the transitional period to summer. Following the spring equinox the days begin lasting longer and the nights are getting shorter. The extra sunlight streaming in the windows when I’m inside and warming my skin when I’m outside are instant mood boosters.
There is no better indicator of the arrival of spring than hearing the sound of birds chirping. During the winter I wait patiently for the birds to return to the trees outside a window in my home office. Every morning as the sun comes up the birds chirping breaks through the silence of dawn. I love it.
What else do I love about spring?
- counting down the days to spring break
- outdoor workouts and yoga classes
- evening walks
- flip flops and sandals
- ditching coats, hats and gloves
- flowers
- green grass
- green leaves on the trees
- spring brings some of the best seasonal fruit and vegetables
- farmer’s markets
Spring also means essential oils go from warm and spicy blends of fall to the invigorating, refreshing and floral blends of spring.
I use essential oils daily with roll ons, in my diffuser, and/or massages as well as incorporating them into my post-workout recovery. I use them to for headaches, as a calming way to help destress and also anytime I’m having a hard time falling asleep.
Essential oils are an all natural option to maintaining a healthier mind, body and overall wellness. When you inhale essential oils through your nose, tiny nerves send an immediate signal to the brain; and then your brain goes to work, to manage your body systems – to help promote relaxation, improve sleep quality, improve skin health and reduce fatigue.
