Blend up a thick and creamy smoothie for a healthy breakfast with whole foods and natural ingredients and experience the health and wellness benefits for the body.
One of my favorite recipes to create is smoothies. They’re satisfying, completely nourishing and full of fiber, which keeps our digestive system happy and efficient.
Since 2015 green smoothies have been a staple on our weekly menu. At least 5 days a week (sometimes twice a day) we start our day with a green smoothie. Switching up the recipe and adding nutritional supplements as needed makes this satisfying breakfast tailor made to individual preferences and dietary needs.
The latest addition to our smoothies is collagen. I’ve noticed a difference in my skin and even more so in my hair and nails. Collagen is now a permanent smoothie ingredient and that’s saying something from people who don’t eat meat, poultry or seafood.
We eat intuitively- based on how the body feels and performs.

One of the amazing thing about smoothies is how easy they are to make and to adapt to your taste. Add the things you love and omit what you don’t like.
The smoothies are prepped in batches of 2 the night before giving the option of a smoothie for breakfast and lunch or dinner because sometimes a day is a 2-smoothie-kind-of-day.

This is AWESOME! My girls’ birthday party is this weekend so I may just have to slightly adjust the cake plans. Thanks for sharing, Marlynn!
I LOOOVE smoothies. I like adding frozen avocado and kale in. I’m vegan though so wouldn’t add collagen as it’s usually made from fish or derived from animal flesh. Unless you know of a cruelty free option?
I actually have a very similar recipe that I use and it’s delicious! The ingredients are identical – I just add some honey to make it a bit sweeter:)
These look nice! I have had a few green smoothies and pretty much had to poke them down with a stick! But these look enticing! Rose @ Our House of Love
I’ve been searching for the perfect green smoothie recipe. It looks like this just might be it!

This sounds so yummy. I have a similar green smoothies every day but without banana as I’m allergic. I currently take collagen supplements but would be interested in adding it to my smoothie.

Yum! I love how you also shared the benefits of drinking the smoothie! I can’t wait to try it for myself.

How delicious! I love mango in my green smoothies. I can’t bring myself to try the beef or chicken collagen, but I’ve got to try the fish or egg one.
Smoothies can be a great way to hide foods that some people don’t like. Since some flavors dominate others, it can be a huge nutritional boost and quite tasty.
I love a good smoothie recipe and that sounds perfect! The combo of ingredients is right up my alley, can’t wait to try this!
I do like (not always love) green smoothies, but pineapple is a new one for me. Didn’t know about collagen being ingestible. Need to look into this 🙂

I keep hearing that I need to get some powdered greens to add to my smoothie and just haven’t gotten around to it. My bigger issue is that whenever I add Spinach it never really liquifies. Like I’m legit still shewing it! What am I doing wrong??
I love thick and creamy smoothies! Your green smoothie looks like a great way to start my day!

Mmm I love green smoothies! I don’t crave them as much in the winter but yesterday I finally got an itch and made a really yummy berry one. It was so thick and yummy because I used frozen fruit and veggies. This recipe looks really good too. I’m obsessed with my collagen peptides and I love Healthy Skoop too.
