Pack your bag with these yoga essentials.
Disclaimer: this post was sponsored by Baggallini, but all opinions expressed are my own. I truly appreciate all of the brands that support the Fit Approach (Sweat Pink) community.
Take a peek inside my yoga bag and you’ll see the essentials that contribute to peace of mind, enjoyment and comfort of the practice. Yes, I could go to class with nothing but a mat, but why not include the basic essentials that I have come to love and enjoy?
[Baggallini] Have It All
I wanted a bag that is lightweight, not too big, pockets and holds a yoga mat. That basically describes the Have It All bag by Baggallini. The fact All In One is stylish and doesn’t look like a gym bag is a bonus because when I go straight to yoga after work or run errands after class, I use my yoga bag as a purse.
[PRAna] Indigena Natural Yoga Mat
After trying many different mats, this is the only one I use.
[Manduka] Yogitoes Peace Collection Towel (for hot yoga)
If given a choice I will almost always choose hot yoga and with that comes sweating. A lot.
[Athleta] Stripes Chaturanga Capri
This capri is my favorite mostly because the fit is perfect and so comfortable. The stripes are just one of the great patterns I love.
[Athleta] Beloved Quest Tank
Another favorite for the comfort.
[Cotingo] Autoseal Cortland Water Bottle
Hydration is so important for yoga, especially hot yoga and a healthy body. The Cortland water bottle is my go-to with no worrying that the bottle will leak.
[Yes To] Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes
To wipe off make-up and to clean up a little after class.
[Evolution Fresh] Sweet Greens with Lime
A part of the yogic experience that I look froward to. It’s refreshing, nourishing and hydrating. If I have time after class and it’s a beautiful day, I enjoy the juice at a lake that is on my way home from the yoga studio. Pure bliss.
Sweatshirt or light pullover
Something to throw on after class.
[Now Solutions] Eucalyptus, peppermint and tangerine essential oil blend
My favorite essential oil blend right now and it’s invigorating, clarifying and cooling. I created a blend in a small bottle that I use after class.
Documenting awareness of life’s little pleasures. When I first started taking classes at a studio I found that I was always leaving with thoughts and feelings that I wanted to remember. Words that I needed to hear. Keeping a journal in my bag is assurance that I always have a place to write down the things I want to remember.
These go with the journal simply because I have a thing for colored pens.
Basic life stuff
Since my yoga bag doubles as a purse on the days I go to class after work or if I have errands to run after I also keep my keys, driver’s license, iphone and money in my bag.
I’m always hungry after class. Am I the only one? Snacks are usually nuts, an apple or one of my favorite homemade granola bars.
