There is an undeniable comfort in finding balance in life. Life isn’t always easy and stuff happens, but with a feeling of balance, the tough times don’t feel as difficult and I’m better able to handle them. Boom!

I really struggle with finding balance in all aspects of my life! My week of workouts was actually better than expected- I’m not allowed to run so I cycled and swam, and I actually really enjoyed them, despite my low expectations.

Last week was okay for me. I could have been better for sure though. I’ve got 23 miles on my schedule for this coming Saturday’s long run for marathon training. So, should be a busy week. Going to concentrate on good hydration and eating.
I had a really tough week at work, and I”m thinking a lot about this. Am I living my best life? No. I’m trying to find balance. My job is becoming more demanding, and it’s taking a toll on me. Thank goodness for my workouts.
I like the variety of workouts you do each week. Is the Body Pump workouts that you do from the Les Mills dvds or do you do them in a class? Also, what type of cardio do you do?

Love your batch cooking! I’m going to try to make some new veggie meatloaf this week. It’s no where near fall here yet, but I’m already craving more comfort foods. I’ve got to get some butternut squash to roast this week! Tis the season! I’ve been having a blast doing HIIT workouts and lifting heavy this past week. I’ve been working on my handstands as well, really trying to get that sticking point for more than 5 seconds! Have a wonderful week Jill! Congrats on a great week of workouts! My runs went completely as planned and I’m feeling good so I can’t complain. With school starting now and busy weeks I probably need to start batch cooking to make life easier 🙂 Enjoy the rest of the long weekend!
