After a whirlwind of a summer, life is beginning to slow down. I loved the summer adventures, but I’m ready for being home and the comfort of routine.

I’m not one to wish the time away but, I’m almost embarrassed to admit, I’ve been thinking about fall especially pumpkin. There. I said it. Wonderful yummy pumpkin recipes like here and here!

  1. Now that my vacation is over I totally feel like summer is ending and it’s depressing! Even the leaves are already starting to turn brown and cover the ground. I’m not ready for it to end!

  2. I’m actually ready for summer to wind down and start the fall. My oldest is heading off to Kindergarten, and I’m looking forward to the change in routines. Thanks for sharing all your fitness and meals. It’s inspiring.

  4. I’m looking forward to getting back into the routine of healthy meal planning. I’ve spent half my summer in Maine. Next week, it’s back to teaching for me! Autumn is my favorite time of year, followed by winter:)

  5. This is great and perfect timing. I have a wedding coming up in November. I need to get a bit in shape.

  6. It does feel like summer is winding down and I have mixed emotions about it. I do love fall but that means school will be starting up again soon 🙁 I have been on this fitness journey and love making protein shakes, I just started trying out some new recipes.

  7. This is my last week of summer vacation and I start back to teaching next week. It’s bittersweet. I’ve enjoyed being home with my daughter so much. This had been on of my favorite summers home with her. I hate to see it end!

  8. I can’t wait for all the pumpkin-ey goodness! In fact, I just made my daughter pumpkin muffins this week. Fall is my favorite time of year <3

  9. It does feel like things are starting to wind down. I’m a little sad about that..we didn’t get up to Wisconsin much at all. My oldest son has a job and works weekends, and we just aren’t comfortable leaving him home alone. This too will pass, right?

  10. Oh my goodness, Jill! Yes, all the pumpkin things! I am so excited! And I may have already started sneaking in a little pumpkin coffee. 😉 Fall is my very favorite season and every year I get so excited towards the end of August for fall to start coming around so I can have mums and pumpkin everything and dark nail polish and boots and scarves and turning leaves and everything that is good. Hope you’re having a great weekend, friend!
