Have you heard the news? Lorna Jane’s highly anticipated book, Inspired, has been released and I couldn’t be more excited.
When I first read that Lorna Jane was releasing a coffee table book I grinned. Ironically, I have a signed copy of Lorna Jane’s, Nourish The Fit Woman’s Cookbook, and because I’m not the most careful with cookbooks (they’re often used, well loved and they show it) and I wanted the signed copy as a keepsake of meeting Lorna Jane, I have Nourish on the coffee table in my living room. I bought another copy to use in the kitchen as a cookbook, green smoothie splashes and all.
Long story short, I had a Lorna Jane coffee table book before it was a thing. THAT is how much I enjoy her books!
Lorna Jane is encouraging women all over the world to dream BIG and find their motivation with her new coffee table book, Inspired.
Inspired is a glimpse a into the life of Lorna Jane, where she finds inspiration and how it helps her to dream BIGGER and achieve MORE every day.

My cookbooks are well loved and well used! I still have some of my Silver Palate cookbooks from the 80s, and they are falling apart! But there are some really good recipes that I go to. I think it’s the sign of a good cookbook.
Great review!
This sounds like my kind of book! I love such positive and inspirational books!
I am going to have to order this I love how passionate you are about it. (Not only in the review but your comments as well). I think books like this find you, you don’t find them. I read cookbooks like regular books. I feel like cooking is an extension of the soul and love that people share that with me.
#Bestcommentever! Thank you Sam. My reply comments are sincere. Every word. There’s just something about MNB that resonated soul deep within me. Crazy right?
I must get this book – I’ve heard so many great things about it and it looks beautiful inside!!
Hi Jen. Inspired is even better than I expected. It’s energizing to look at and read!
Great review. I have heard a LOT abotu this book. I need to check it out.
Hi Rachel. Inspired is even better than I expected and I was expecting a lot 🙂
I love Lorna Jane and this book sounds wonderful and looks so pretty!
My cookbooks are a mess….especially the pages that include my favorite recipes. Ha ha!
Hi Melanie. You can tell which recipes I cook most often haha!
I love that you have two copies of her cookbook! I try really hard to keep my cookbooks clean, but usually once that first splatter happens I tend to let the obsessiveness slide a little bit 😉
Hi Ariana. I don’t intentionally mess them up. It just happens. It’s a sign of a well loved cookbook 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
My best loved cookbooks are a mess. I like it that way. : ) Sounds like a beautiful and inspiring book!
Hi Marcia. It’s so strange. Anyone that knows me would think smudged and splattered cookbooks would bother me. It doesn’t at all. Inspired is even better than I expected!
Just received my copy and I’m already loving it!
Hi Michele. Inspired is even better than I expected and I was expecting a lot 🙂
Yay glad you like it too! My only coffee table books are this one and a Kate Spade book 🙂 I LOVE a messy cookbook. I think it gives it character and shows (in a weird way) that it’s used.
I know exactly what you mean about messy cookbooks Jess. It’s so strange. Anyone that knows me would think smudged and splattered cookbooks would drive me crazy. It doesn’t at all. I even write in them when I tweak the recipe. My Oh She Glows Cookbook has lots of character 🙂
This book looks so inspirational! Right now my coffee table is covered in magazines and guide books/river maps/trail maps for my upcoming Grand Canyon rafting trip.
Hi Amanda. Is this your first trip to the Grand Canyon? The scenery is truly breathtaking! Can’t wait to hear all about it.
I actually write out recipes on notecards from recipes that I find online and then make a mess of the notecard while I am cooking. I have 2 cookbooks on my book shelf, but I never use them…Weird right? While for personal books, I love flipping the pages and refuse to read off a electronic device. 🙂
I have a thing for cookbooks and I actually use them. What are the 2 you have? I prefer real books too. There’s something about holding a book in your hands and flipping the pages 🙂
I keep cookbooks on my coffee table as well! I just love flipping through them for inspiration.
No way! I’m not alone in my weirdness 🙂 What are your favorites? I have about 5 of my favorites I keep in the living room for inspiration. Crazy right?
I just finished reading The Crossroad of Should and Must! It’s fabulous and totally on my must read for folks. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Becki. Now that I don’t have to study I’m looking for reading recs. What’s The Crossroad of Should and Must About? Always happy to share Lorna Jane 🙂
Jill,
Thanks sooo much for hosting this link party!

It’s truly my pleasure to host for the #fitfam 🙂
My book is sitting proudly on my coffee table! And I’m the same way with cookbooks. They’re a mess – but I think that just means they’re loved 🙂
I agree Nicole. My Oh She Glows is very loved 🙂 Inspired is even better than I expected.
I buy cookbooks to read. Hahaha. Sometimes I cook from them, but I really just like reading recipes and flipping through them. I’m so weird.
Weird yes but it’s even more weird that I get it haha! What are your favorites?
I rarely use cookbooks anymore as everything is online which is good because there’s no chance of me getting that dirty!
Hi Megan. There’s so many recipes available online but I can’t give up real cookbooks 🙂
I absolutely love seeing Inspired on my coffee table right now! Just walking past it gives me that motivation to move, nourish, and believe in myself every day!
I feel the exact same way Brie. It’s even better than I expected.
What a beautiful book! I don’t have any of her books but I would love to get this one! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend!
Inspired is even better than I expected. You should get it Stephanie. It’s an energizing read!
I don’t have coffee table books…never been my thing. Most of my cookbooks are from the library so I have to keep them clean LOL
This is a coffee table book you would want Cassi! It’s so inspirational! That’s awesome that you use cookbooks from the library. I love mine too much to have to return them 🙂
Very cool! I’ve heard great things about this book!
I have mostly photography books on my coffee table.
Hi Jenn. I have photography books too. I think only one of them is an actual coffee table book but the others I like to look at often so they’re on the coffee table for convenience.
Inspired is even better than I expected!
I totally need to read this book! I keep seeing it everywhere and it seems awesome!
Liz, Inspired is even better than I expected. It’s energizing to look at and read.
Hi Jill! This book sounds really interesting, and i’m sure it would kick me in the butt to do more with my career and website! Luckily I just finished my personal training exam (YAYY) so FINALLY i can read again. Got my first book in six months from the library yesterday – The Invention of Wings. Looking forward to relaxing and reading it. Have a great weekend!
Me too! I passed 2 weeks ago and I’ve loved being able to find time to read for pleasure again. Yay for us! Congrats.
Read Inspired. It’s energizing!
The artwork in her book looks so inspirational!
Hi Kathryn. Inspired is energizing to look at and read!
i have her cookbook, and even that is inspiring! so i am excited for this one! I’ve seen how much she has impacted you and it’s contagious! LOVE!
Love to you friend. Thank you.
This book looks awesome! Thanks for hosting the linkup!
Happy to host Julie! Thank you for joining 🙂
I love the Nourish book and I know I would love this one too! Can’t wait to get it. Nice review
Hi Deborah. Have you read Lorna Jane’s More? It’s awesome! Inspired is even better than I expected.
This book reminds me of inspirational artwork I had as a kid. I’d love to get my hands on it to check it out!
Hi Annmarie. Inspired is even better than I expected. It’s energizing to read!
My Bible and my journal are always sitting on the coffee table and my journal has all kinds of strange marks on it – usually coffee spills or marker from my toddler 🙂 The pages you shared have absolutely stunning artwork!!! WOW. This book sounds like a great read!
Hi Amy, Inspired is even better than I expected. Coffee spills and toddler marks? Those are well loved books 🙂
I think it’s so funny that you have an extra copy of Lorna Jane’s cookbook just for your coffee table. But a great idea. I loved having the chance to meet her at Blogfest last year. She is inspiring.
Hi Debbie. I talked to her at the expo, but I was hoping she was going to be at Blogfest this year.
A great idea for a coffee book.
Hi Priya. Inspired is even better than I expected.
My coffee table books are usually architecture related! But this would be a great coffee table book–one that helps you unearth a little something each time you pick it up.
Hi Susie, Inspired a go back to often book. It’s energizing to read!
This book looks beautiful, can’t wait to get a copy for myself! I use my cookbooks and I am kind of messy 🙂 Happy Friday Jill!
Thanks Mary Beth. Reading Inspired is energizing! You’ll see what I mean when you get your copy.
My ‘cookbook’ is either my ipad or phone, so I try to keep them clean, although they do sometimes get smudged up! Inspired looks like a truly beautiful book!
Hi Michelle, Inspired is even better than I expected!
