Another week of motivation, support and encouragement with the fitfam! Hanging out with you guys is always such a pleasure.
Yes, life is busy, but Jess and I always have time to say thank you for spending Tuesday with us every week!
I have a before my daughter wakes up to-do list because after she wakes up the day is hers. I’m sure she won’t leave a minute to spare. So, ironically, I don’t have an extra 10 minutes at the moment so I’m going to get right to it.
Have you ever finished something earlier than expected? Or, maybe, you’re dressed and ready for work with 10 minutes to spare before you have to leave. What do you do with those 10 minutes?
Be purposeful in how you spend the time in your day. Even if it’s just 10 minutes, make the most of it. If you need to relax, then do just that. Silence your phone, sit outside, read a book or take a walk. Don’t multi-task. Just let yourself relax. Whatever you decide to do with the 10 minutes give it your undivided attention and focus.
The focus of the 10 minutes isn’t checking off a to-do list, getting things done or how much can I squeeze into 24 hours. The focus is using 10 minutes with purpose.
10 things [with purpose] to do in 10 minutes:
- Hang out with your kids
- Blog tasks
- Clean out email
- Update my to-do list or plan for the next day
- Take a walk
- Write in a journal
- Watch a sunrise or sunset
- Social media daily checklist tasks
We all have small amounts of “spare” time in our day. Use that time with purpose and intention. You might be surprised by how much you can accomplish in very little time.
This week is a little extra special! Jess and I have a chance to meet some of the fitfam in real life. How cool is that?
