  8. Oh man this all looks so festive and wonderful! We usually go to a great parade in the town where my mom lives then grill out after. This year we’re leaving for Europe the on July 5th so I won’t be cooking a thing on the 4th!

  9. Oh, all these recipes look so good! I just realized how soon fourth of July is, so we haven’t made any big plans yet. I think some friends are visiting that weekend, so some hiking and grilling is likely in store!

  13. We are heading to a party with my in-laws for the fourth. We went last year and it was awesome, great food, fun, and the fireworks were the best I’ve ever seen. Favorite all-time grilled meal is very simple, chicken legs. My dad got me hooked. I skin them and marinade with some magical mix of seasonings, oils, vinegars from the fridge. It’s never the same and I can never really say what I put in the marinade because I can never remember but I do know they are ALWAYS delicious.

  14. July 4th we have a bunch of friends coming to visit! 3 of Alex’s oldest friends are going to be staying on our floor (in a 600 sf apartment) and then another friends and his wife are staying with cousins. It is going to be interesting, but so much fun 😀
