Empower yourself with the belief that anything is possible. Dream big, make a plan, do the work and visualize yourself making your dreams become a reality.
Get an early start on the day. In every inspiring book read, podcast listened to and Ted Talk watched, if the topic of being a morning person comes up they’re all in agreement. Early morning is “uninterrupted time” to focus on the things that need to get done.
Move your body. The body craves movement and it’s essential to overall health and feeling your best.
Spend quality time with loved ones. Make time for the people who are the most important. Unplug and give your undivided attention to those that you love. Make it a priority.
Power down the mind. Find time everyday to turn your mind off, rejuvenate and just be. Even if it’s only a short period of time. Maybe a walk, yoga or meditation.
Develop meaningful personal and professional relationships that provide support, encouragement and a belief in your ability to make your dreams come true.
Track your time. To effectively and productively spend your time you have to know exactly how you’re spending your time. If you’ve ever tried to lose weight, you know that nutritionists tell you to keep a food journal because it keeps you from eating mindlessly. It’s the same thing with time. Write down what you’re doing as often as you can and in as much detail as you think will be helpful.
Trust your instincts. In business and in life, listen to your gut. All the answers you need come from within.
Cultivate an attitude for gratitude and find joy in simple things. It’s the little things that bring sustainable success and happiness.
Find acceptance and validation from within. Look inside yourself. Find more and more from within. It’s there. I promise.
