Life is busy [in wonderful ways] and I’ve surprised myself with how I have stayed stress
free minimal. I’ve gotten into a groove and day by day getting things done and enjoying every step of the way.
Getting things done means setting priorities and doing less of a few things. One of those things has been Instagram. I take the pictures but never get around to sharing.
What you would see if I had more time for Instagram.
This week I realized how the benefits of yoga truly go beyond the mat and fitness. Take traffic for example. I’m sitting on the highway not moving and when I do move if feels like I barely creep an inch. I know I am going to be late. I have people waiting for an early meeting that can’t start without me. I didn’t stress. I remembered lessons from the mat. Stayed Calm. And I didn’t start my day with stress about something that was out of my control. Boom!
Part of the routine and getting things done is studying 6 days/week. Usually during lunch at work and in the evening.
Recipe creating with seasonal bowls. The ease and yumminess of bowls has made this a daily thing for lunch and/or dinner. I’ve been experimenting with different spring fruits and veggies and homemade dressings. Super easy.
My yoga journey continues. I’ve mastered 3 new poses over the past few weeks but I’m always in class when I do them and I don’t stop to take a pic. Side Crow, Half Moon with a Bind and Forearm Stand. Such a sweet feeling!
Lets chat Amazon auto ship. My husband pretty much runs the household by auto ship. From paper towels and toilet paper to my vitamins. It still surprises me how on point the auto ship is. Timing is perfect. Marketing research at its best I suppose.
Snacks. Another daily eat has been Nuttzo with green apples. It’s easy, satisfying and yummy. I’ve decided you really can’t go wrong with nut and seed butters.
In the midst of all the chaos I have managed to find BALANCE.
