I am most definitely having this for breakfast tomorrow! *-*
Yum! That oatmeal looks so good! With summer coming, I’ll definitely be going back to overnight oats instead of hot oatmeal!
Does it count if I turn my oatmeal into granola? Cuz that’s by far my favourite way to eat it haha
Those snacks do look easy and tasty – I am the worst at preparing meals and snacks! I need to try these overnight oats I am always hearing about. And yay for warm weather, finally!
Delicious! I need to branch out more and eat oatmeal–other than in cookies and cookie bars. 😉
I love apples and PB! one of my favorite snacks. I’ve never tried making my own parfait though…will have to try that soon! Afternoons are when my sweet tooth attacks and I want a sweet snack, so that’s definitely a better option than the craving I get for cookies 😉
Great tips! I always need easy snacks that I can bring to work. One gets pretty tired of bars, you know. The oatmeal sounds great. I love a little maple syrup in my oats 🙂
I haven’t been much of an oatmeal eater but with all the wonderful recipes out there you all make it look so good.
My go to snack is apples and almond butter. So delicious! But those strawberries you have are making my mouth water. 🙂
Looks really yummy and now I am starving!
Yes I have oatmeal at least 2 times a day most days – it’s just so easy and versatile!! What a wonderful afternoon snack you made – love the maple syrup!!
I LOVE snack time, and that green smoothie calling to me!!! Oh my goodness, it is full of awesomeness. I have yet to try maca. Def on the try soon list. : ) Always love your fuel/food choices, powerhouse Jill. Happy happy Friday!
Ooo, I have some B Strong I can totally use!! Love it when I have all the ingredients ;). Happy Friday!
This sounds so good. I have one last mason jar of overnight oats left in the fridge. Luckily, I just bought a bag of strawberries yesterday, so this recipe is next up on my list. I love overnight oats, for sure. I’ve pinned a few savory oatmeal recipes (including a sardine + oats recipe!) but never tried it!
Agreed! oatmeal is for allll times of the day now. Although since it’s getting warmer, I seem to be ditching warm oats for overnight ones or smoothies instead.
I’ve never done a savoury oatmeal! I like my fruit and lightly sweetened oats too much to branch out I guess. This recipe looks yummy!
That looks yummy. I’ve never considered oatmeal for an afternoon snack, but hey why not!
This looks so delicious, Jill! I need you around to make me snacks haha
Personally, I like my oatmeal very simple…I make mine in the microwave with some water, when its done cooking I add in a sprinkle of sugar free, fat free vanilla pudding mix and some cinnamon. If I have a sweet tooth, I’ll add some gluten free chocolate chips to the mix!
That Nutzo looks so good. I’ve not had it before. I’m typically a Nutella gal although Biscotti cookie dip is PHENOMENAL!!
ooh now I am hungry! I love the Greek yogurt parfait #Rock your core
I’m an egg whites oatmeal made with water gal. But oats don’t need no specific time of day to be eaten!
I love the idea of having oatmeal for a snack. I don’t know why I always assumed it had to be a breakfast food!
I like oatmeal during the winter – something about it is so comforting. As the weather turns nice I find myself craving cold foods for breakfast and do a lot of green smoothies!
That strawberry oatmeal looks phenomenal, Jill! Pinned for later so I can give it a try! 🙂
I am totally going to eat it for breakfast tomorrow. It will be my very first overnight oats. Thanks for sharing it, Jill!
Those all look like wonderful breakfast or snack ideas! I have been on an oatmeal kick lately as eggs just haven’t sounded good in the morning (which is weird! pregnancy aversions…). I was wondering what goes well with strawberries in oatmeal! My stand-by is bananas with pb and raisins but we have strawberries all ready to go 🙂 I need to try your recipe!
And I really need to get BACK on a smoothie kick. Today is a new day! My son and I will have to share a green smoothie for snack time. Love your recipes, Jill!
I love having a yogurt parfait with fresh fruit as an afternoon snack. Its a perfect balance of sweet and protein.
I could eat oatmeal morning, noon and night. And for a snack. YUM!
I love the whole concept of overnight oats. I also love Chia. I need to try this sometime, thanks for sharing!
I have overnight oats every day. Love the parfait!
I love those snacks ideas! Apples and nut butters are my favorite (and it is easy) I do love the overnight oats too! I need to organize and make a big batch this weekend! The strawberries are still yummy right now too! Happy Friday!
