Words like purpose, intentions, happiness, priorities and even a little fear seem to be a recurring themes in my head lately. With clarity in your purpose and a change in your intentions every sunrise is a continuing journey of discovery.

Your “WHY” changes.

I don’t know exactly where all of this is taking me. I’m facing fears with confidence, embracing the changes in the direction that my life is taking and I have the comfort of knowing husband and kids are beside me for support along the way.

Where did all that come from? This was originally going to be a simple workout recap and a menu plan post. Then, the words, feelings and thoughts just started to flow. It’s all a natural fit for Fitness, Health and Happiness, don’t you think.

  4. I am always changing the direction of my posts…Sometimes I will write the title, but go completely blank when I want to start writing. I’ll walk away from it and come back and delete it and start with something totally different. Sometimes you just have to roll with it! 🙂

  5. I smiled at your question! Today’s post was going to be a little different than what came out–I did just let it flow. It was really reflective of what was going through my mind on my run today. Sometimes I do plan a post but most of them are just off the cuff.

    I agree with you about doing what you love. This is why I put all my energies into running and yoga, and writing. Focusing on that makes me better at everything else I do because I’m happier.

  6. Sometimes I feel like we share brain wavelengths!!! My post for tomorrow is similar to this. Sadly, I don’t know what it is that I really want to do – I was asked that yesterday morning and that is what prompted my post!!!

  7. Oh Jill I needed to read this today. I was laid off this week from one of my biggest clients and it’s been a weird week for me I need to concentrate more on what I love and something will great will happen. I’m hustling while I wait. But I need to concentrate on the things that make me happy!

  9. I try to remind myself to be thankful each day when I wake up, even if there’s something going on I’m NOT looking froward to. I’m also realizing I need to make more time to do the things I love, and not to feel guilty if I’m not being busy. Lovely to read about what makes your heart full 🙂

  10. ‘Do what you love’ and words to that effect have been one of my mantras over the last 2 years – since I started to do more of the stuff that makes me happy (and ditch the other junk!) I – no surprises – got exponentially happier! It doesn’t sound like rocket science, but I really feel people don’t think they deserve/are able to do what they love enough. I was definitely there, but now I realise how easy it can be, once those things I love are identified.

Loving all the P90 in your workout routine, I fell in love with strength training years ago, which was hard for me because cardio always had my heart hehe I feel your struggle reestablishing a positive relationship with food, I have been working on that over the last few months and think I am finally making progress.   12. Sounds like you had a great week of workouts! I feel the pain of a stream of consciousness mind at well. When I’m writing and sometimes when I’m talking at work! It makes sense in the context of my brain, anyway. I did resonate with the title and beginning of your entry. I also found the rest interesting. So no worries!

  13. When it comes to blogging, I take two approach. Some posts are methodical well thought out and sometimes I just let the words flow. If the flow becomes a little nonsensical, then I try to redirect it and sometimes it becomes two separate posts. That’s the beauty of writing. Sometimes a plan works and sometimes you just go with wherever the words from your heart take you.

  14. I am constantly changing the direction of my posts- which usually just means tweaking the title of the post, not a big deal! I think its better to go with what is coming naturally rather than force a different topic. Looks like a great week of workouts (love all the yoga!) and a good meal plan for the week!

  15. LOVE this Jill! Sometimes we all get caught in the all we “have” to do, when a simple change of perspective could make all the difference as it is what we “get” to do. Love that quote image! You are so good at this! I have had a kinda mental negative mindset for me recently, and I dont like it…..there I go again! Need to find my real Tina again!

    1. Thank you Tina! Before all of this began to transpire I felt kind of lost and suddenly questioning my purpose in life. I just knew there was MORE waiting for me. Maybe that is where you are. Maybe the reason for your mindset is to get you to do a little soul searching and is actually the beginning of wonderful changes for your life. I truly believe things happen for a reason.
