A snow day means a little extra time this morning to share what I’ve been eating lately. Meals lately could be summed up in one word, PLANTS!
Lots of fruit and veggies!
I can’t find the post but at some point not too long ago, with the exception of gluten, I eliminated “foods you can’t eat” from my life. It’s all about choices and knowing my body. Well, it’s interesting that as soon as gave myself permission to eat meat I no longer craved or wanted it. Not a single bite.
It’s crazy how powerful the mind is!
Yummy things I’m eating lately [not all from this week]:
My morning routine. 3 cups water, 1 cups warm lemon water, 1 cup of coffee and a glass of greens all before breakfast. We’re working on improving Chad’s gut health and he has agreed to try this for 7 days.
Spiralizing like crazy especially zucchini for gluten free pasta. Cooked is my preference for a better texture. I also ate fresh figs for the first time this week. Man, I’ve been missing out!
Meal prepping pasta for the week!
Continuing green smoothies-a-day.
My go-to snack. Awesomeness after my favorite hot yoga class!
Oats. Baked. Overnight. Traditional. Anyway you can cook it and I’ve probably eaten it this week.
Work snacks. Almond butter and goji berries. Celery never tasted so good!
Yummy goodness! Kiku apple with peanut butter (or almond butter) all sprinkled with cinnamon.
Time to workout. On the plan today, strength training and yoga.
Make today amazing!
I’m linking up with Peas and Crayons to share What I Ate Wednesday.
What good eats have you enjoyed this week? Do you like fresh figs?
be the best version of YOU
