I’ve been thinking a lot lately about 2014 and 2015. What I’ve accomplished. What I want to accomplish. Successes. And even the failures.
The big question right now is, what will my running goals be for 2015?
I thrive on having yearly goals. Always have. But, looking back at the past 2 years there have been more running goals that were not accomplished than were.
It’s discouraging no doubt. I’ve even been thinking, maybe I won’t have any goals. It’s hard to imagine not having goals and just thinking about it doesn’t feel right.
So, am I giving up?
I will learn from my mistakes. I will accept that things happen that are truly out of my control and I will adapt.
So, what will my goals be for 2015? I’m not entirely sure. But, sitting here, right this minute, I decided the elusive sub-2:00 hour half will be mine in 2015! It’s been 2 years since I’ve tried, but it’s the one goal that is never too far in the back of my mind. The one goal that I keep coming back to.
On the workout plan for this week, running and a hybrid of 2 of my all time favorite programs.
During the holidays and while I’m not in a training cycle, I’m focusing on week by week with workouts. Do what I can when I can. Doing the things I love.
