Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words. 🙂 XXX

  2. ha! I just took my cravings quiz. NO IDEA what FIRE Brand means, but I guess I need to check my email in order to figure it out!

  3. I really enjoyed this post. Lots of great links! Thank you, especially for the social media help. I need all I can get haha! Yes, I do keep a running/fitness journal. I really just keep miles mostly but do add some yoga in 😉 it’s a great tool to look back into to see progress or where and when you’re not at your best.

  4. WAHOO thank you so much for including me! 🙂 I am already dreaming about tomorrow’s smoothie…HA…Like I said, I am on a tear and I am not stopping anytime soon. Have a beautiful weekend friend! xoxo

  5. I have heard great things about fitness journals. I decided to give it a shot so I ordered one to hold myself accountable. Looking forward to receiving it.

  6. We love Apples to Apples – it is always a night full of laughter when we play that one!!!
Can’t wait to see what all you have coming up in 2015 – I have a feeling it will be huge!!!

  7. You know , I found a training journal the other day after thinking – what a great idea that would be to make one! LOL… Fitlosophy I think it’s called. It’s really cute! I think I might treat myself.

    1. Hi Amanda. It’s awesome. I won’t use every page but I put a lot of them together in a binder. Fingers crossed that I have found an efficient way to keep track of blogging to-do and whatever.

  8. Wow, you are hardcore Black Friday shoppers! I shop online – it’s kind of like cheating 🙂 Not sure I could handle the crowds!

I always keep a training journal, even when I’m not training for a specific race. Right now I’m keeping a pregnancy #2 training log. I’m kind of a planning/stats nerd so a training journal is my favorite. They are fun to look back on, too!

  9. I don’t really keep a training journal but my weekly workout recaps are interesting for me to put together because they help me to get a better idea of what the heck it is I have been doing lol. I do like using a planner though – an actual paper one that requires a pen.

  10. apples to apples is MY favorite! Lately we’ve gotten into the more adult version (Cards Against Humanity) SO funny and inappropriate. I had not idea you hosted this link up too! I want to join next week 🙂

    1. My kids have been begging me to get Cards Against Humanity. They’re 18 and 16 (on Monday). Too inappropriate you think?

Yes, please do! I’d love to have you join 🙂

      1. I wouldn’t play it with my 17 year old sister in law. I think it would be too many awkward moments. I played this weekend with friends and we had a card come up that had “Scrotum Tickling” on it LOL but soo inappropriate!

  11. I ordered a new calendar that I am waiting on to arrive. I hope I can use it as an all in one, blogging planner, training tracker, life organizer etc.! That is the goal for 2015- all my stuff in one planner! I am on instagram now! Woo hoo! I am learning! I am at fitnessskippy 🙂 look for me! Have a great weekend!

  12. Im asking for the Believe training journal for Christmas! I haven’t used one before but Ive heard such good things about this one so I want to give it a try!

  13. Your family is so cute! We don’t play family games nearly enough anymore. The kids are young adults now with jobs and cars of their own. Always on the go!

  14. Great line up–so many of these I’ll be clicking over to check out. Especially the hot chocolate almond brownies! Your pictures with your daughter are great.

    Have a fun weekend!

  15. I’m definitely a big fan of the training journal–even if I don’t have a plan exactly set out, it helps me stay balanced in my workouts, see the effects of the week on my results, etc. It was really great last year when I was figuring out what to eat before long runs!

    1. Good morning Suz!
Do you mind if I ask what you kept track of in your training journal? There are so many details that COULD be included but I want to keep it simple and target key training points. If I make it too detailed I won’t keep up with it. Thanks!

      1. my workouts, and the the day before and of my long runs, a bit about what I ate, whether I napped, and also when I have events or things out the ordinary. Like If I was up late, bad sleep, didn’t feel good. It helped me track patterns and figure out if foods were upsetting me, if I didn’t hydrate enough, etc. Feel free to shoot me an email if you have more questions!

  16. Such a great list! One of my goals is to hit that sub-2 hour mark too. After April, I plan to run less and train harder to make it happen.

  17. WHoa! you added that post in there fast 🙂 I love it though, thank you for sharing! So many other good ones, and jill, you are such a great source of inspirational articles on your own, let alone before you share others! Looking forward to supporting you on that running goal, now if only i could get my running mojo back!

  18. I haven’t used a training journal per se. I have a calendar that I write everything on but would love a real journal as I embark on training for my second half marathon!

  19. Hmm. I don’t do most of those blog traffic things, but my blog is my hobby, not my business. It’s always interesting to see how much work it is to get big traffic numbers.
