Happy Friday! I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful family filled joyful and delicious feasting Thanksgiving.

As you read this there is a good chance I’m still Black Friday shopping with my daughter. She’s almost 16 now and Black Friday has been a tradition from the time she was able to sit in a shopping cart.

1. I’ve been thinking a lot about 2015. The feeling of endless possibilities and adventures that come with the beginning of a new year. Be on the lookout for an amazing Best Life in 2015 Giveaway!

2. Another thing on my mind is back to basics with fitness and nutrition. Trust what I know and do the things I love. One of those basics is the original P90X beginning Monday. Boom!

3. Winter or not. There’s never a bad time for smoothies. I’ve created a nutrient powerhouse berry smoothie by combining Skoop A-Game and B-Strong with a teaspoon of maca.

4. My love of the red cup and protein pancakes.

5. I’m missing yoga-in-the park weather. It’s going to be a long winter.

  1. Dude, Where’s My Motivation? – My motivation has flatlined lately. Anyone else? Ugh!
  2. Sweat It Out Cardio and Strength – This workout will take you less than 30 minutes, perfect for the busy season!
  3. The Best Free Workout Videos on YouTube – cross training is more consistent and enjoyed more when I use a DVD or video
  4. Yoga Is a Feeling – With regular practice this year I totally get this now.
  5. 16 Minute Equalizer Tabata – I’ve had the Equalizer forever but I’ve never used it. I can’t promise I’m going to jump over it but I am going to try this workout.

  2. Banana Bread Breakfast Bake – on Twitter I called her the breakfast bake genius #itstrue
  3. 5 Meals and Snacks That Tame Stress Eating – yumminess and less stress from Jessica
  4. 11 Healthy DIY Protein Bar Recipes – I prefer to make my own protein bars and I’ve been looking for new recipes to try.

  5. The Science of Selfies – I’m selfie challenged and need all the help I can get.

I’ve actually given up my regular bowl of oatmeal for a jam packed smoothie in the morning, and I honestly can’t see myself going back even though it’s currently snowing and miserable outside 😆
