On my to-do list for this weekend is to finalize our Thanksgiving menu. I want roasted green beans on the menu this year instead of (or if my family has it their way, in addition to) the traditional green bean casserole.

      1. Uh, I’m not hosting….I’m hosting for MYSELF. I am going to someone’s house who is having twenty people, too much to educate all those about cross contamination/what’s safe/notsafe. Long story short, I decided while it is a lot of work, i want to enjoy my food and the company at the table, not worry if I’m being gluten or not 🙂

  3. Everyone deserves to enjoy the holidays! And Thanksgiving should be a year round thing, in my opinion!

    1. I agree! It’s crazy that we don’t enjoy the goodness year around. Maybe that’s why we love it so much. It’s only once a year.

    1. Mine too Sue and you can use it in a variety of types of recipes. I also like it plain. Just a spoonful of quinoa 🙂

  5. More smoothies…Spaghetti squash concoctions…And I just put a quinoa chicken chili into the slow cooker. Trying to use up all my groceries before I make a BIG trip to Costco!

  8. These are great Jill! I am so thankful that you put this wonderful round up together. I am finding I am best off not eating gluten but it gets hard around the holidays! I was just about to put together my menu so this is perfect timing.

  9. Those look like some great Thanksgiving recipes to try! Sometimes just keeping things simple, like roasting veggies with some seasoning, can turn out really great!

  11. I haven’t thought much about what we are having for Thanksgiving dinner. I do know that we will be having Oh She Glows Sweet Potato Casserole. Her T-day recipes are the best!
