It’s race day! It’s been more than a year since I’ve run a half marathon and almost that long since I’ve run a race. YikES! This is a training race for my goal race next month. No pressure, right! Tell that to the butterflies in my stomach.
I’ve spent the end of last year and most of this year recovering and then totally focusing on strength, mobility and flexibility. My goals for this race are to run strong and enjoy the run. No time goal for this race.
I came across this infographic while googling a totally different topic (Source: Visual.ly). A little more googling and according to USA Toady, Americans spend $117 billion annually on fast food. Multiply that X 2.3 for Plano, Texas.
That’s a whole lot of burgers and fries!
Technically, Chipotle is fast food but other than that I don’t eat at fast food restaurants. I just don’t like the food and I prefer to cook at home. My kids? They would eat it everyday if I let them.
Asian Lettuce Wraps
Fall Harvest Salad
Yogurt and Fruit
String Cheese and Van’s Gluten Free Crackers
Are you surprised by how much money is spent annually on fast food? What’s on your menu this week?
