My kids are back to school and I have a little less input on what they’re eating during the day so whenever I find an opportunity to slip in a healthy snack or breakfast I jump at the chance.
Crunchy clusters of whole grain oats, dark chocolate pieces and a touch of peanut butter are the perfect start to great tasting and nutritious breakfasts and snacks. I knew the word protein was going to make this a hard sell to my kids. They both make a scrunched up face whenever they hear the word protein. They immediately think protein powder and not dark chocolate and peanut butter.
One bite of my Banana Protein Granola Bites and they were both hooked on the Nature Valley™ Protein Granola. Protein and all!
Add milk for a yummy breakfast to start the day.
Enjoy greek yogurt topped with Nature Valley™ Protein Granola for breakfast or an afternoon snack.
A simple bowl of Nature Valley™ Protein Granola while doing homework is a quick and easy snack for after school that will hold you over until dinnertime.
The snack recipe that won them over, Banana Protein Granola Bites.
Delicious and easy to make. Slice a banana, add a dab of peanut butter (or your favorite nut butter) for the “glue” and top with Nature Valley™ Protein Granola.
You probably already know that adding protein to your diet throughout the day has many benefits. 1/2 cup Nature Valley™ Protein Granola provides 10 grams of protein and 22-26 grams of whole grain, at least 48 grams of whole grain recommended daily.
Nature Valley™ Protein Granola is a healthy option that my kids love. That’s a win-win!

Yum! I love granola when I eat it as cereal. I can’t eat as much because it’s pretty calorie dense, but it’s so delicious when it combines with milk! 🙂
Wow, what an easy recipe and so good for you! I have a tendency to eat it right out of the bag! 🙂 but I also love to put it on top of my yogurt!
