Whether it’s looking for recipes to plan a weekly menu, inspiration and ideas for food food photography or nutrition information, I love browsing healthy food blogs.
Learn how to cook — try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless and above all have fun. Julia Child
In January I shared 12 Healthy Foodies You Should Follow. How about 10 more? 10 great resources for special diets along with simple clean eating recipes and brilliantly beautiful photography all with an emphasis on natural, healthy whole foods.
Dietician Debbie Dishes – Debbie is a Registered Dietitian who believes healthy eating and good nutrition shouldn’t be complicated. Let her make it a little easier for you by sharing healthy, seasonal, vegetarian recipes.
Lexi’s Clean Kitchen – Lexi is a self-proclaimed foodie, recipe developer, food photographer, an Elementary Art Teacher, and a lover of all things health and fitness. Her recipes are all gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo-friendly, refined sugar free, and soy-free. Many are under 30 minutes to make and all use simple ingredients that you are likely to already have in your home.
Cookie and Kate – Kate is a self-taught photographer and cook from Oklahoma. She blogs about about celebrating good food—real, sustainable food that delights the senses and nourishes the body.
The Iron You – Mike is a triathlete, former ski racer and tennis player. He has devoted most of his life focusing on better nutrition choices, exercise and, in general healthy living not only as a way to improve sport performance but mostly to lead a more balanced life.
A Couple Cooks – Sonja and Alex Overhiser, a writer + photographer husband and wife team that started A Couple Cooks as inspiration that anyone can learn to cook simple, seasonal, and nourishing whole foods. Instead of focusing on a single diet or “what not to eat”, A Couple Cooks focuses on what’s common to most diets: real non-processed food, and all things in moderation.
The Sprouted Kitchen – Sara is a food loving, wellness craving, veggie fiend, who enjoys the culture of enjoying a meal with friends and family. Whole, clean cooking that is about the food at hand. Her intention is to make food taste good through using natural ingredients: whole grains, healthy fats, natural sugar alternatives and the like. She isn’t promising a lot of ‘meat and potatoes’, but a bit of indulgence will certainly wiggle in amongst the vegetables.
My New Roots – Sarah shares edible inspirations from playtime in the kitchen, and her deep love for whole foods. The recipes and ideas you’ll find at My New Roots revolve around a plant-based way of eating with a whole new world of flavour and nourishment.
The Year In Food – Kimberley is a photographer, food blogger based in San Francisco, CA and author of Vibrant Food. The Year In Food charts the course of the year through inspired, creative cooking and eating with an emphasis on seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Naturally Ella – Erin focuses on seasonal vegetarian recipes that are pantry-inspired, simple, fresh, and exciting for the entire family.
What’s Cooking Good Looking – Jodi is a natural foods chef and lover of healthy, wholesome, and tasty foods that have the power to make us look good from the inside out. An indulgence of really good food, healthy eats, occasional sweets, and pretty photography.
