Vega Sport Performance Portein Review

Like most of you I ask a lot of my body and I took that for granted until I started running ultras. If you keep pushing your body you have to give it what it needs to stay strong, perform and recover. Saying that now it seems like a no brainer, but there was a time when I put very little emphasis (other than carb loading before a race) on performance and nutrition.
If you know me you know I love to chat all things nutrition. Combine nutrition and performance and I could talk for hours. Writing a review about a product I use created by a company I trust falls into that “I could talk for hours” category. This is less of a review and more of what I would tell a friend about a product I believe in.
Who doesn’t want to perform better? Whether it’s stronger, faster, or endurance you train to be better and to be better you have to fuel your better. I use Vega Sport Recovery Protein [almost] without fail after every workout. I’ve tried a lot of different plant-based protein powders and I find Vega’s claim of reduces recovery time between workouts to be true. I’ve researched recovery nutrition and based on what I’ve learned I’m confident Vega Sport Recovery is giving my body what it needs to recover and perform. Oh, and the taste? Let’s face it, if it doesn’t taste good how long are we really going to keep eating it, right? This protein powder has the best flavor and texture of all the protein powders I’ve ever tried and that is said without exaggeration.
Why Vega Sport Recovery Protein works:
A complete multi-source, alkaline-forming, plant-based protein powder blend, featuring 5,500mg of BCAAs and 5,000mg of glutamine per serving, Vega Sport Performance Protein is formulated to:
- Improve strength and exercise performance
- Repair and build muscles
- Reduce recovery time between training
Most often I recover with a smoothie because I love them, they’re refreshing and they’re quick and easy to make. When I have a little more time I add Vega to baked oatmeal or my favorite gluten free pancakes.
I have to ask. How do you fuel your better? What is your recovery routine?
