5 Things I’m Loving Right Now

Maybe it’s the spring weather and the affects of mega doses of Vitamin D from spending time outside in the sun everyday but there is an overwhelming feeling of rejuvenation and freshness right now! With so many great things I thought it was a perfect time to share Loving Right Now. My son thinks I get overly excited about things and then I want to [over] share my excitement about it all (one day his scientific brain will understand). Maybe overly excited and over share are true but…

There was a time when I lived as if nothing was fabulous, amazing or awesome. Now I live as if everything is. –Jill Conyers

1.
You’re probably no stranger to Oh She Glows the awesome online recipe resource but have you seen the new cookbook? Angela has out done herself with the recipes she shares in this book. This is a must have even if you’re not vegan. More info and reviews here The Book

2.
A cookbook that is so much more. Another must-have even if you’re not vegan and have never even considered it. Brendan Brazier is one of very few authors that I can say I own every book they’ve ever written (that I know of). When I first considered changing to a plant-based diet I bought Thrive, the Vegan Nutrition Guide to Optimal Performance In Sports and Life. The Thrive philosophy is one of the reasons I was successful at finding (and tweaking as needed) my optimal nutrition. That was my goal, finding optimal nutrition.

High-net-gain foods deliver us energy by way of conservation as opposed to consumption. -Thrive

3.
Awesome marketing strategy but, none the less, imagine my surprise when I found Thrive magazine at Whole Foods the same week the Thrive cookbook came in the mail. I’ve read it cover to cover! I’m fascinated with all aspects of nutrition and it plays a part in where I see my life going.

4.
Quote of the week. Be determined today!

5.
I can count on one hand the number of apps I’ve actually paid for and Pic Lab HD is one of them. It’s all about the fun font options for Instagram photos. If you could see the font collection obsession on my computer you would understand my excitement about having fonts for Instagram. So cool!

Don’t forget, we have a coffee date tomorrow. Join me!

You know I have to ask. What are you loving right now? What are you so excited about that you can’t wait to share?

be. HEALTHY. be HAPPY. be YOU.
