Change Is Good
One of my goals for 2014 was to increase readership by 33%. Goal accomplished! Actually, bragging just a little here, in about 1 year I tripled my readership! I was shocked! Analytics I never dreamed of!
It was time for a change.
Changing Fitness, Health and Happiness to Jill Conyers is something I’ve considered since a conversation I had when I attended the Runners World Half and Festival in 2012 as a blogger. A few more questions and recommendations and I decided to make the change. What better time than as part of a blog makeover. Fitness, Health and Happiness isn’t totally gone. It’s now the tagline of Jill Conyers dot com and describes my vision for this blog and life in general.
To accomplish my goal, I read a mind numbing amount of information on blogging, set goals, stalked amazing bloggers to learn from the best and listened to recommendations. I knew adding more time to blog wasn’t an option and I still have a full time job. I know it’s very cliche-ish but in the end I basically worked smarter not harder. A few more things on the blog to-do list and a tweak here and there and all will be as I’ve imagined.
I’m excited to start sharing some of the plans for Jill Conyers [dot] com that have been in the works. Coming soon: a new recipe, and yes, another link up that is going to be epic, giveaways, and of course more on running, fitness and nutrition. Stay tuned!
