Fit gear that will bring health and fitness along with holiday cheer!

1.
Garmin Forerunner 10
Part watch, part running coach, the Forerunner is a light and comfortable GPS device that tracks distance, pace, and calories with the press of a button. Includes and online option for planning, reviewing and sharing runs at Garmin Connect. I never run with without my Garmin. Price: $129.99

2.
Koss Fit Series Fit Buds and Fit Clips
Koss’ female designers teamed up with Gold Medalist Dara Torres to create the world’s first headphones designed specifically for women. Small design, sweat resistant and three different sizes of ear cushions for the perfect fit. I was pleasantly surprised by this product! I stopped listening to music while running because the headphones either constantly fell out or were too uncomfortable. Either of the Fit Series options truly provide a comfortable fit and they don’t fall out. Price: $29.99*

If you purchase at any of the following retail stores the Fit Series headphones are only 19.99 this holiday season. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Walgreens, Kmart, Sears

3.
Nathan TorchLight QuickDraw Plus
With a 22 oz bottle, large zippered pocket protects essentials like smartphone, keys, cash, and gels, fully adjustable, moisture-wicking hand strap with thumbhole for grip-free running with 3M reflective on back of hand for low light visibility, makes this a great option for long runs. On my wish list this year. I started looking for a handheld when I started training for my first 50 mile race. I have finally decided this is the one. I trust Nathan products and the size looks like it will work well for small hands. Price: $18.46 (Amazon)

4.
110% Play Harder Juggler Knickers
Juggler Knickers combine the benefits of compression and the power of an ice bath in a single piece of gear.  With strategically placed icing pockets, reusable ice inserts and a thermal carrying bag they transition from high performance compression gear to an active recovery system in one simple step for maximum comfort, performance and recovery. My experience with 110% Play Harder is without complaint. Price: $150.00

  1. Intense gifts! I’d get a garmin if I hadn’t already invested in BIA which I am looking forward too!

    1. I know I probably already know this and have forgotten but what is a BIA? Curious minds.

      1. Why, it’s the first GPS sports watch designed by women, for women (not unlike the Koss Headphones). It’s smaller (I’ve worn one), easier to use, and comes with an SOS safety alert for solo training. Unfortunately, it’s not available yet. http://www.bia-sport.com/

        1. Thanks Tiffany. I think I remember reading about bia last year (maybe). I bet it’s a great product! Smaller is almost always best for me and very few companies design with smaller in mind. That’s why I love Koss products. Thanks!

  2. Those tights are HARD COREEEEEE they look like they weigh a TON! lol! A little tooooo intense for my liking, so I will just stick with the Athleta gift card 😉

    1. I thought the same thing when I first got the tights. Not heavy at all. The compression is a delight! Athleta gift card works too 🙂

  3. The Garmin made my list too. Love mine, but I think I love my music even more especially for longer runs. Good list, love to get any of those 😉

    1. Hi Melissa. I just started listening to music again! Music and podcasts for long runs 🙂

    1. I know what you mean Kristy. The tights are honestly worth the investment. The benefit of having ice pack pockets made a big difference in how I recovered during ultra training and after any long run.

  4. Great list Jill!!! I’m thinking this year I need to invest in some good tights!

    1. I’ve tried several brands Nancy and the 100% Play Harder are the best! And you can’t beat the ice pockets. Genius! So worth the money!

    1. I totally agree Kristin! Def worth the $. They’re feel like a post-run massage for your legs 🙂

  5. Gotta add the Oh She Glows cookbook to my Christmas list!

    1. Hi Mar. What have decided to ask for? It’s hard to pick just a few. I want it all!

  6. I’ve asked Santa for the Garmin, ordered the Koss Klips for myself and my girls’ stockings, and just pre-ordered the Oh She Glows cookbook! This post was heck on my wallet, but I loved it!! 😛

    1. Hi Sara, with the pro-Nathan comments I’ve decided to buy the Nathan Quick Draw for myself 🙂

      Garmin love here too!

  7. Those Fit Buds are SO going on my santa list!!! I am a runner too and earphones can be so uncomfortable and ear buds just fall out while running! I will try anything 🙂 Thanks

    1. Hi Heather! You won’t regret it! They’re are surprisingly comfortable even during the winter wearing a hat. Let me know if you get them from Santa 🙂

  8. There’s my favorite water bottle – the Nathan QuickDraw Plus! My phone and gels fit in it. I bought mine at a local Finish Line store for $10 last summer.

    1. Sold! You’ve convinced me to go with the Nathan 🙂 Now if I could find a $10 deal!
