Running, Tomatoes and Fit Gear
Marvelous is…my relationship with my daughter!
She’s growing up so incredibly fast.
Marvelous is…a great fitness week or more importantly a great running week!
Week 5. What training looked like:
Monday – Rest
Tuesday – Run 6 miles, Body Revolution
Wednesday – Body Revolution
Thursday – Run 6 miles
Friday – Body Revolution
Saturday – Run 20 miles
Sunday – Run 6 miles
With starting MAF Training and needing to do the 3 mile test I had a chance to run on the track at the high school. Speedwork on the track is my favorite workout, but with training for distance it hasn’t been on the training plan this year. It was more like slowwork but, still, it was on the track.
Finishing a long run. I looked rough at the end but I felt amazing! If it weren’t for the 100% humidity I could have kept running.
Marvelous is…A RAK!
Yesterday, on the route of my long run someone left a cooler full of ice cold bottles of water for runners and walkers. The sign says, runners/walkers stay hydrated. Help yourself. How cool is that? A random act by a stranger that was greatly appreciated by everyone that passed by whether they took the water or not.
Marvelous is…Swiftwick, the only socks I run in, now come in pink and green! It’s the little things.
Marvelous is…finally having enough of my homegrown tomatoes to use in a recipe!
I finally had a few small red tomatoes to add to my favorite Bell Pepper Salsa recipe. I don’t know what I like more, the flavor of the tomatoes that you can only get from homegrown or the fact that I grew them. Joys of a new gardener!
I’m joining Katie again this week for Marvelous In My Monday!
What is marvelous in your life? Do you have any tips for a rookie gardener? What does a great fitness week look like for you?
