Something a little different this week for WIAW. Instead of a day’s menu I’m sharing what seems to be my foods of choice lately.
Mini Sweet Peppers. As a snack (nothing else needed) or in a recipe. Perfect and the fact that my daughter loves them is a bonus!
I recently decided to try a variety of vegan cheeses. This is my favorite of what I’ve tried so far. It tastes great on a black bean burger.
A new snack. 1/4 cup fat free cottage cheese, 1/4 plain greek yogurt and a crumbled Kind Bar. There is something about the texture combination of the yogurt and cottage cheese that this a new favorite. Yum!
Dried pears. Another new to me food. These will definitely be on my weekly menu again.
Vegetarian fajitas. A quick and easy dinner.
And last but not least. My favorite foodie tool, an herb chopper from William Sonoma. I love using fresh herbs in recipes and this makes chopping so fast and easy without bruising the herbs.
