Three Things Thursday

    1. With starting P90X2 and running I quickly realized my menu plan was an epic fail. My lack of energy on Mon. and Tues. (probably Wed. too) was almost comical. I guess I didn’t learn my lesson. I went through the same thing when I started P90X for the first time in Oct. of 2010. I think I have a temporary mental block of adding calories knowing that not adding calories with increasing my activity level defies logic and experience.

  1. Just look at the positive! I started a detox cleanse this week following the Whole Living 28 day challenge. It’s broken down into 4 weeks, the first being the most difficult since you are eliminating certain foods such as caffiene, wheat, dairy, eggs, etc. I had a few slip ups but that’s okay, I don’t view myself as a failure I just do the best that I can do at that given moment in time!   2. I am just really learning the balance of nutrition and exercise! I couldn’t believe how weak I felt when Chelsea and I were doing a fast, there was no way I had any energy to run!
