I don’t have the option of running indoors so I have to do whatever I can to make the below freezing temperatures bearable for winter training runs and races.
When I came in from my run yesterday the first thing I said to Chad was, “they made all the difference in the world!” Hand warmers! A must have for winter running (or anything outdoors).
Just insert the small packets into your gloves and the warmth while running is nothing short of blissful.
Do you have any tips or suggestions for running during the winter? What helps you stay warm? Do you use hand warmers? Do you run more often on the treadmill to avoid the cold?
