Self-care is a conscious decision to examine aspects of your life and take active steps to reset and revitalize your body, mind and spirit.
First, are you here to find workouts for the week? I’ve got you covered. Go to workouts for a selection of quick HIIT when you’re short on time, superset strength workouts, 30 minute cardio, ab workouts and more. Choose 2 strength workouts alternating throughout the week with cardio for total body fitness. And, not only do you have ready access to workouts, I’m changing things up a little bit with Monday fitness posts. Don’t worry. There will still be workouts, but I also have a few things planned to motivate you to move for the remainder of the year. Seriously can’t wait to share!

It’s funny how life works. How the big picture of a puzzle suddenly comes together. For years, the focus of here has been Fitness, Health and Happiness. Recently, I’ve themed some of my yoga classes Yoga Body, Mind and Spirit. There’s been an unintentional theme in my life that has brought together everything I’ve learned about fitness, health and happiness for total body balance. Taking action for things like happiness and contentment, mindfulness and believing. In the end making the time to become the best version of you will make you better at all the other things you have to do.
Eat well, exercise, live whole and feel amazing.
In that balance is self-care. More specifically, making the time to make self-care a priority. To achieve optimal health, you must treat the body, mind and spirit equally. You can eat a healthy diet, but if you’re in a constant state of stress, you’ll feel it in your body. You can workout 4 or 5 times a week, but if you eat a diet of junk food you’re not going to perform at and feel your best.
