Yoga, Inspiration, Recipes and Nourishing Your Body
Happy Friday! It’s been a long week and that’s with a day off on Monday.
My sleep is back on track, workouts are going as planned and next weekend is 3 days of YTT200. I’d say life is definitely good.
This is the perfect time to celebrate favorite things. Don’t you think?
The things that make life even more amazing.
Happiness is getting another shipment of yoga books for teacher training. I get totally absorbed in the books I’m reading (and sometimes re-reading) for yoga teacher training. It’s fascinating, so very new to me and I want to absorb it all.
I often talk about listening to your body and you’ll know what you need. Well. I listened and as it turns out I needed a magnesium supplement. I’m sleeping better (and longer) and my energy levels are more balanced throughout the day and as a result of both stress is managed much more effectively.
I’ve been working on a new muffin recipe for what seems like forever. It’s finally perfected! I’m so happy with how it turned out. Definitely worth the time and trial and error. I’ll share the recipe on Sunday.
As a Momentum Jewelry ambassador I’m so excited to be a part of an awesome campaign to inspire others. A big part of why I do the things I do is to educate and inspire others. The #sharethespark campaign is to be the spark that inspires someone. I’ve given one to my daughter who is focused on Cross Fit goals and one to my husband who is wearing it to train for a 314 mile race, The Last Annual Volunteer State Road Race, in July.

Avocado toast on homemade bread with a side of fresh veggies. I could eat this everyday and be perfectly happy. There’s something about eating foods that not only taste good, and you know it’s good for your body too.
I’m also loving: this Tone and Burn Treadmill workout, “bowl” meals for breakfast and dinner, and the realization that I was owning what wasn’t mine to own. Things I couldn’t change and was causing stress. Boom! More on that later.
