Healthy Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Good morning. I think I start almost every post with good morning, right? Well, it is good. I never have a bad morning. I can’t always say that for the rest of the day because, well, life happens, but mornings I can count on.
How is everyone doing? Wonderful I hope.
Is it me or do you feel like summer is winding down? I’m sure it has a lot to do with going back to work after the most amazing summer break. I don’t want to wish summer away, but I’m ready for fall. I’m ready for the change of seasons and I’m ready for, dare I say it this early, pumpkin.
It’s been way too long since I’ve invited everyone over, so how about a workout and smoothie bowls? My house? Sound good?
The workout will be a round of my first created-by-me bootcamp. Then, delicious and refreshing smoothie bowls. Do you think you can make it?
Swap your smoothie cup for a bowl, blend, add your favorite toppings and you have a cool refreshing snack that's great for after a workout or to enjoy on a warm summer afternoon.
- 2 Sambazon Acai Berry Superfruit Packs Pure Unsweetened
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1 scoop Skoop Be-Strong Plant Based Protein
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- strawberries, sliced
- Place the acai packets, coconut water, banana, protein powder, ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Divide the blended mixture between 2 bowls.
- Top with granola, strawberries and blueberries.
- Serve immediately.
For a thicker consistency add more ice or let sit in a freezer about 10 minutes before serving.
Any requests for different toppings? I will happily have your toppings of choice on hand.
