I’m chatting with Amanda and friends at Running with Spoons.
For the past few weeks if I’m eating there’s a good chance it was a meal in a bowl or wrapped in a green leaf. I was chatting with the produce guy at Whole Foods (because I’m geeky that way) and somewhere in the conversation he recommended Red Bok Choy leaves. There’s a slight kick of flavor and they’re the perfect size for 2 mini wraps.
FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH
If there’s a Fountain of Youth it’s flowing with Argan oil. In the process of giving my skin care routine a summer makeover I came across information on Argan Oil. I use it under my regular moisturizer day and night. It smoothes and brightens the skin and as long as you don’t put on too much (a little goes a long way) it completely absorbs into your skin without feeling oily. After I finish this bottle I’m going to mix my own with Argan essential oil.
My brainiac daughter taught me the wisdom behind flashcards for studying and now I never leave home without them.
My skin care routine isn’t the only thing that has gotten a makeover. We wanted to add another guest bedroom so my home gym was moved to the unfinished basement. I didn’t think I was going to like it, but I was wrong. Lots of space, I can play music as loud as I want and nobody hears it, the treadmill is no longer over my son’s bedroom where he could sometimes hear me running in the morning and best of all, I had room to add this new beautiful piece of cardio goodness, an elliptical. I’ve decided a home gym in an unfinished basement is very cool with a cross fit kind of atmosphere.
That’s it for now. House guests for graduation weekend start arriving today so I’m on a schedule this morning to get as much done as possible.
Have a fabulous day friends and and thanks for the chat.
Do you have a Fountain of Youth skin care product? Do you have food obsessions? Did you study with flashcards when you were in school?
