Just like the Quick and Easy Spring Veggie Bowl, I like recipes made with real food, easy to make and full of fresh flavor. Nourishing Oats and Quinoa Breakfast Bowl is all of that plus packed full of good for your nutrients.
The flavor and texture combination of oatmeal and quinoa is fantastic.
And, to make it even better, if you cook the quinoa and oatmeal and chop the fruit the night before breakfast can be thrown together quickly. Simply reheat and add the toppings.
A quick and easy breakfast bowl that tastes wonderful and is packed full of nutrients. Combining oats and quinoa create a wonderful combination of textures and a unique flavor which pairs perfectly with the sweet juiciness of fresh fruit.
- 3/4 cup gluten free oats, cooked
- 1/3 cup quinoa, cooked
- 1/2 cup fresh mango, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon walnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
- dash of cinnamon
- honey to drizzle
- Combine the first 7 ingredients in a breakfast bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey.
For a quick and easy breakfast, make the quinoa and oatmeal the night before. Simply reheat and add the toppings.
