Do you know the feeling when you’ve thought about something and debated with yourself for what seems like forever and finally make a decision? I can tell you it’s like a breath of fresh air and the possibilities seem endless! I’ve decided to pursue my dream job by combining my profession with my passion for health and fitness and could not be more excited to see where this decision takes me.

They’re back! As of yesterday a new school year has begun and I’m going through the post summer break adjustment.

I sometimes forget that not everyone blogs. Right after we landed in LA for Blogfest my family surprised me by making our first stop a Lorna Jane store. It was awesome! Me in my comfortable-for-flying 4 hours clothes and 3 lovely ladies chatted while I shopped. I found it interesting that they were most interested in blogging. No Jill. Not everyone blogs.

I’m on week 7 of Piyo and loving it even more than week 1! It’s a program that lives up to it’s claims. 3-4 days of running and 6 days of Piyo are doable without compromising performance of either. I’m planning a fall half in Florida!

  1. Awww thats wonderful Jill, I am so glad you had a great time. I definitely hope to attend one of those someday. I should look to see if there are any near Lexington. As for something I would like to chat about….it is the fact that my house is completely packed up….all that is left is the furniture……yet, we just found out we cannot get in our new place till around the 5th! UGH! Not sure what to do about that……

  2. That looks like so much fun! Congrats on the career decision! That’s awesome to hear! :] My hope/thought is that if you love what you do, it’ll never feel like actual work. :]

  3. Congrats on your career decision. I did the same thing a few years ago and I love it…I also forget that not everyone blogs and I also forget that not everyone reads all of the blogs I read therefore when I think my readers may already know something 10 times over, they actually don’t. I keep that in mind when I think I shouldn’t post something I find redundant lol…Also, I am super excited that my Pure Barre DVD’s arrived because like you say about Piyo, you can do that and running without compromising either.

    I just got Piyo (finally) but don’t know if I will start it until after my September race – lately I’ve been really just focused on logging miles.

  5. I look forward to hearing how it went, I would love to attend one of those blogfests sometime, the great people and learning would be amazing!
    I laugh about the “not everyone blogs” very few of my “real world” friends, co-workers blog or even read blogs. Occasionally we get into conversations and they are either looking at me weird, or asking me a dozen questions because blogging intrigues them. It’s fun to have our online blog world, and real world even if the two get mixed at times!

  6. Sounds like your trip was a huge success! We still have ONE MORE WEEK of summer but I think we’re all very over it and ready for our routine to return!

  7. And congrats in your carrer decision as well (somehow missed that). I am going through something similar although not in the same feel and it is quite exhilirating yet a bit nerveous thougt :)

  8. It always occurs to me afterwards that when I say to someone, “I’ve been busy with the blog…you know!” that no, they probably DON’T know! Specifically that it’s more than just writing posts, it’s all the extra work behind the scenes. Can’t wait for your IDEA recap!

  9. Once I’m done with Livefit, I’m so starting PiYo, it arrived the other day and I’m super excited!
    I have lots of things to be excited about this week. Last week (my high five post) was a week of deliveries. Totally loving my new barbell set.

  10. Glad to read that you enjoy Piyo. I have put it in the shopping cart and then deleting it more times that I care to admit. I’m going to give it a chance.
