My Vision Of a Goal
In May I created a vision/inspiration board to define What’s Beautiful with images and words. It has been on my desk in my home office for the past 5 months and it never fails to motivate and inspire. A little reminder of my priorities when I start to linger on the computer a little longer than I should.
I love the concept of a vision board and the whole process of creating it is relaxing while at the same time energizing. I’ve been meaning to make another one but I just kept putting it off. Until now.
Last week I mentioned as a Girls Gone Sporty Ambassador I was given the opportunity to join Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation. The program includes weekly challenges. Guess what the first weekly challenge was, create an inspiration board.
My board is covered with reminders.
My board is covered with ideas, words and images that inspire me. Words and images that I admire and respect.
And if all else fails it’s a reminder my reward at the end of 4 weeks. This Athleta top in teal. Earn it!
Before starting the workouts I completed the fit test to measure progress. To give myself irrefutable proof when I start doubting myself.
Push-Ups (1 minute): 20
Ab Strength (Timed Plank): 92 seconds
Wall Sit (Timed): 3:33
Sit and Reach (Distance): 6 inches
Push Up Challenge (Leveled): Level 3 x8
What my week looked like:
Have you ever created a vision board? What would you include on your vision board? Have you ever completed a fit test to measure progress? Are the numbers motivating?
