When you focus on the things in life you can control it makes it easier to handle the things you can’t control.
May was a month of stress and a serious motivation and confidence slump. After a less than stellar first half of a trail race I hit my limit and turned it around. Lets just say there were tears involved. Then, all I could think of was, “What the heck? You know what you need to do so just do it and I did.” I don’t ever want to feel that way again. I totally did not plan to go there with this post but with reviewing the month it seemed inevitable. Moving on….
