Menu Planning
Last week’s menu ended up being a little boring. I noticed that I was more tempted to eat out (I didn’t but wanted to more so than usual) and I went to the grocery store several times throughout the week, which is unheard of, simply because I didn’t feel like eating what was planned. So, this week’s menu and workout plan are about making changes and trying new things. I’m trying new E2 recipes, a new ab workout, and a few changes to my weekly training plan.
Off for a run before the family wakes up! Have a great day!

I didin’t realize how often you do ab ripper x, I’m wondering if it gets any easier (i’m sure it does and I’m just weak hehe)

Haha…it definitely gets easier. When I first started I felt like a fish out of water flapping around when I did the oblique v-ups. Now they’re my favorite. I include Ab Ripper off and on throughout the year to break up boredom of core work. All in all it’s the core workout I get the best results from. How do you like it?

Nice! I plan on going to CrossFit a few times this week and doing some WOD’s at home before the Boyf and I go on vacation.
I just started getting the Spartan WOD daily email. I think I’m going to try it for a few weeks.

Have to ask. What are DOMS?

DOMS is delayed onset muscle soreness – us weight peeps know that acronym.

Haha. I knew that! I knew it would be something simple and I would be embarrassed after asking. Run peeps that cross trail know DOMS too
Thanks Jody!

We had edamame at home for the first time recently – i’ve only ever had it at restaurants before. We just snacked on them whole but the idea of using them for a hummus is great!

I haven’t tried any one of them. I am not so much lover of eating outside. I make a deal to keep healthy items at home so that i won’t crave for junk food items. Many times the dietician recommends more salads or green juices to your diet which will give proper nutrition to your body.
