What’s For Dinner Menu Planning || Diet-To-Go

 Diet-To-Go Review

Menu Plan

Last week’s What’s For Dinner menu plan included three days of meals from Diet-To-Go, a diet delivery service. When the 9 meals arrived it immediately struck me how convenient and time saving it is going to be to have meals prepared and ready to go with little to no work on my part. My next thought was, sure it’s convenient but how do the meals taste? Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about pre-packaged microwavable meals.

Menu Plan

The verdict? The food was good! The meals were satisfying not only with taste but also variety. I never felt hungry and on the meals that included yogurt I saved the yogurt for a smoothie later in the day.

Menu Plan

Once the taste and overall satisfying meals were approved I looked into finding out more about Diet-To-Go.

Diet-To-Go

  • With the diet delivery service you have the option of 3 menus to choose from including low-fat, vegetarian and low-carb. To help choose what option would be right for your the website provides sample menus for each option.
  • There are no cancellation fees or gimmick pricing. There is no contact and there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
  • The diet delivery service offers an option for weight loss and overall healthy eating that is nutritionally balanced, portion controlled at a price that is comparable or less than what I would spend on a meal that I prepared.
Menu Plan

If you’re focusing this year on losing weight and overall healthy eating but you don’t have the time or motivation to prepare fresh foods daily this is definitely a better option then buying takeaway or eating out. While the focus of the diet delivery service is weight loss the meals don’t feel like a “diet”.

It’s a good time to try Diet-To-Go! Right now you can get a great deal with 25% off a plan until January 8th by entering the code “newyear2013″. Remember the 100% satisfaction guarantee!

I think Diet-To-Go is a great idea. If I didn’t have my family to feed I would do it for busy times at work. Right now, I have a friend who might be interested, so I will tell her about the discount code!

Whenever I think of delivery “diet” services, I think bland food but it sounds like Diet To Go is full of flavor and keeps you satisfied.

Sounds like a good service for busy times or people who don’t like to cook… as long as one is able to get their dietary needs met. Good review.

You are the only woman I know who can make a vegan menu look good to me! The diet-to-go meals looked surprisingly good too. Most meal prep places don’t have meals that look good.

Those actually look like some really hearty meals, I am very impressed with Diet To Go… Hopefully those who need to lose weight will take notice about the rather decent portion sizes and get excited that they’re allowed to eat so much on a diet! :)

Hi Rachel. The Brocc Tahini Wraps were new to me and with a little tweaking of the recipe it’s going to be a favorite! Any recipe that even remotely sounds like hummus I’m going to try :) The recipe is from The Raw Food Revolution book.

Ihad a Groupon for a food service once before. It was ok… a little carb-y and high in sodium. Honestly, I just enjoy preparing my own food. the grocery store is like a field trip for me. LOL!
