Throughout the year blogs, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are abuzz with chat and photos from the latest fitness-blogging conference. The excitement, energy and shared knowledge makes it hard to resist attending at least one!
As I mentioned in my Fitness Bucket List post, attending a fitness-blogging event is one of my goals for 2013. So, I decided to look into my options. This is what I have found so far (Note: Unless otherwise specified, the location is based on the 2012 conference and is subject to change.) :
Fitness and Health Bloggers Conference
Description:
The FHBC is the premier conference discussing the communication to the public via the internet of cutting-edge fitness and health information with the goal of combating obesity and improving wellness.
Location: Denver, CO
Description:
For bloggers interested in fitness, wellness, good food and a healthy lifestyle. Two days of education, networking, friendship and fun.
Location: Baltimore, MD
Description:
BlogHer conferences bring together thousands of these women from around the world to discuss, inspire and connect with each other.
Location: Chicago, IL
Description:
The Healthy Living Summit is a weekend conference for bloggers and blog readers interested in all aspects of healthy living. Founded by six healthy living bloggers in 2009, the Healthy Living Summit has grown in attendance and scope every year since.
Location: Cambridge, MA
Imagine spending the weekend learning and meeting people that share an interest and passion for blogging and healthy living! Each conference offers a wealth of information along with a fun experience. It’s hard to pick just one!

Fit Bloggin’ Next year (2013) is in Portland Oregon and Blog Her is in Chicago. I’m not sure the others have released locations yet. You should also add the Bend Retreat it’s not HUGE but it’s in Colorado and I think they plan to so it again, last year was the first year.

Fit Bloggin was amazing this weekend… and everyone commented how supportive and welcoming the atmosphere was compared to a few others… I’d highly recommend it if you can get to Portland next June!

I heard fit blogging is in Portland next year. Baltimore is only an hour away from me, too bad I missed it this year!! I totally want to attend one as well. I feel my blogging is still in the very early stage and so many things I need to work on.
