Foodie Pen Pal Reveal

This month I signed up to be a Foodie Pen Pal at the Lean Green Bean. Ironically, my Pen Pal, Deea at Sprinkle Some Sunshine, is a self professed “junk food junkie”. She did a wonderful job of picking a few of my favorites snacks as well as including a few things I’ve never tried. Now that I think about, Deea mentioned that whatever she bought for me she was going to buy for herself too. I wonder how she liked the “healthy” snacks :)

Wasabi Almonds – a favorite of mine and my daughter
Curry Kale Chips – love the curry flavor.
Larabar – I love Larabar and have never tried the Cherry Pie. I highly recommend it!
Edamame with Acai – I never thought to add Acai to dried edamame. A tasty snack!
Kind Bars – another favorite and a great choice of flavors!
Kashi Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies – my kids love them.
Blue Diamond Almond Nut Thins  (not pictured) – loved these and have bought them twice since finishing the box.
Pirates Bootie White Cheddar Cheese Puffs – my son’s favorite.

And Deea included the cutest spring card.

Thank you Deea for the fun foodie package.

  1. Wow, what a great haul! That is fun and I keep thinking about doing it as well! I love getting fun stuff in the mail. I guess I have to try those Nut Thins, since they were so good you ate them before you could get a photo! 😉

  2. YAY! I’m so glad you enjoyed the treats! I bought doubles of most of them to try. My favorite new finds were the KIND bars & the nut thins. I didn’t like the wasabi almonds or the kale chips so much but they were fun to try. Thanks so much for being my first foodie pen pal & introducing me to some HEALTHY goodies! It was fun getting to know you! :)
