Three On Thursday

1. This affects all bloggers. I’m sure you’ve heard about PIPA and SOPA (Protect IP Act and Stop Online Piracy Act). Want to know what you can do to help STOP SOPA? If you’re not sure of the bills’ details go to How SOPA Would Affect You. And click the image below to sign the Google petition.

2. My first of monthly fitness articles for Skinny Ms. dot com has been published. Click the image below to read Making Time To Work Out.

3. Green tea. I’ve started drinking 1-2 cups of green tea daily. We’ll see if the benefits I’ve read so much about are true and make a noticeable difference.

Do you drink green tea? Is there anything you’ve started doing or eating after reading “the benefits of”? Did you notice a difference?

I just haven’t gotten in to Green Tea. I’ve tried it, but just didn’t care for the taste of it. I probably need to try it again!

Hi Lori. It was an acquired taste. The first time I tried green tea it seemed to weak and watery. Now I use 2 tea bags and it’s perfect.

    I love green tea!

Thank you for the information on SOPA. I feel SO much more informed now.

I signed the petition, it’s scary to think what might happen to the internet in the United States.

I should drink more green tea, I have read about some of the health benefits but I should look into it more.

SOPA is scary and so extreme. I’m sure the problem of piracy can be addressed with less drastic measures. Right?

I make green tea smoothies. I usually add fresh pineapple and spinach with a touch of raw honey to sweeten and it’s unbelievably delish and refreshing! I did a post back in April 2011.

Yum! I’m definitely looking back at your recipe. Thanks Lisa!

Allan’s boss lives off green tea, runs, and plays soccer and he is in perfect health and phenomenal shape and gives green tea and exercise credit for all of it!

Hi Suzanne. From what I’ve read I believe it. I haven’t been drinking it daily long enough to see the benefits. Very curious.

I always want to become a tea drinker because it is supposed to be good for you, but I just can’t do it. I am not a fan of warm drinks (no coffee for me either). I just need to force myself and then I will probably start to enjoy it. Let us know if it makes a difference:)
